Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-09-17
This page explains what data this website collects and what happens to it. It is short because we collect very little.
Who is responsible
This site is operated by Tree Of Our Life, the studio developing Symbi. For any privacy question, or to have your data removed, write to [email protected].
What we collect
- Your email address, only if you submit it through the early access form.
- Anonymous, aggregated site analytics: approximate country, referring page and browser user agent. This is cookieless and is not linked to your email address or to any identifier we can trace back to you.
We do not collect names, payment data, gameplay, audio or screen content through this site. Symbi is still in development and is not distributed from here yet.
Why we collect it
The email address is used for one purpose: to notify you when early access opens and to send occasional updates about that launch. We do not sell, rent or share email addresses with advertisers.
Legal basis
Your consent, given when you submit the form and confirm it from the link in the confirmation email. Consent is the only basis we rely on, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Cookies
We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising on this site. Analytics are collected without cookies and without cross-site identifiers.
Who processes the data for us
- MailerLite — stores the email list and delivers the messages.
- Cloudflare — hosts this site, routes our email and provides the cookieless analytics.
Both act as processors on our behalf. Data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards those providers offer.
How long we keep it
Your email address is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and is removed after that. Aggregated analytics contain no personal data and are retained in aggregate form only.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its processing, receive a copy of it, and withdraw consent. This includes rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and the CCPA. Under the CCPA we note that we do not sell personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
How to unsubscribe
Every email we send contains a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email [email protected] and we will remove your address.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new date above. Material changes affecting subscribers will also be sent by email.
